We have received reports of suspicious emails (phishing emails) and suspicious messages impersonating our hotel group and accommodation booking websites.
There have also been reports of cases in which recipients are directed to fraudulent links through the messaging functions of certain websites or messaging apps.

In some reported cases, guests received messages claiming that their reservation would be canceled unless they updated or re-entered their credit card information. These messages directed users to fraudulent external websites requesting credit card details and personal information.

Please be advised that yugen kyoto shijo and our reservation partners will never ask guests to re-enter or reconfirm credit card information, passwords, authentication codes, or personal information after a reservation has already been completed.

Our hotel will never ask you to enter or re-register any of the following information through the messaging functions of specific websites or other online communication channels.
• Credit card information
• Passwords
• SMS authentication or verification codes

If you receive any suspicious message, please do not click any links or open any attachments included in the message. We kindly ask that you delete the message immediately.

Please also carefully check the sender’s email address, URL, and account name. If you notice anything suspicious, please contact the hotel directly or contact the reservation service through its official channels.
